Voluntary return

The Executive headed by D. José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero has activated a Voluntary Return Plan for immigrant workers unemployed and originating from EU countries with which Spain has signed bilateral agreements on social security, if they wish to return to their countries of origin .

The intent of the Plan is to ensure the return of these immigrants to their country with the highest possible security. Thus, they may charge in advance all the unemployment benefit, will compute all contributions made in Spain and in their country of origin for their future pension and may return to our country at their discretion after the deadline .

The requirements to be met to qualify for the same:

  • Belong to any of these countries with which Spain has signed agreements: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, USA, Russian Federation, Philippines, Morocco, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Republic, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uruguay and Venezuela Read the rest of this entry »
