Computer crimes have increased in the same proportion as the Network has made breach security systems and the invasion of the privacy of users by a third party is the order of the day.
Two types of computer criminals, hackers and crackers. The first are those intended to demonstrate their skills, access to the computers of users to bypass security systems, usually without intending to cause more damage. The crackers, in turn, also access to computers illegally but in order not only to exploit the information they saved, but also with the intention to modify or even destroy it.
Both behaviours are defined in the penal code as computer crimes because they involve an illegitimate interference in computers and other systems.
In our Penal Code, is called to that computer crime is committed by any of the existing electronic or computer, and expressly provides as follows:
