The constituent power

When studying any constitution observed that it is organised state power. But we know that the state is a legal entity acting by a plurality of organs and that they have a functional speciality. So rather than talk about the power of the state do the powers of the state. These powers, the government, parliaments, etc. judicature. derive their authority from the Constitution and should be operated under the same. They constitute what we call the powers that be. This reasoning leads us to the following question: If the branches of government derive their authority from the Constitution where does the Constitution? Who does? Why there?
